For 10 years, I had the honor of serving on the Board of Directors for Healing Hearts Connection - and for 10 years, I “Frunged” right alongside this community. I’m officially retired from jumping into icy lakes… but I’m not retired from the mission.

Healing Hearts Connection is a place where grief is met with community and connection; helping families and individuals who are devastated by the death of a loved one move from isolation toward support, hope, and healing.

The Frunge is Healing Hearts Connection’s largest fundraiser, supporting their Hearts of Hope Family Grief Camps - a weekend experience that helps families heal together (and individually) in a compassionate, peer-based environment. These camps are offered at no cost to families because of donors like you.

As a licensed funeral director, I’ve seen how grief doesn’t end after the service. Families need ongoing support, safe spaces, and people who “get it.” It’s why I’m raising funds this year as a Friend of a Frunger - fundraising without the lake leap!  If you’re able, please consider making a donation to support grieving families.
