Hey y'all!! We are raising money for Healing Hearts Connection because this organization makes something truly sacred possible: grief camp offered free to families.

Grief is already heavy enough. No family should have to decide whether they can afford support while carrying the weight of loss.

Healing Hearts Connection creates space where children, caregivers, and families can grieve openly, safely, and together—without judgment, pressure, or cost. Because of fundraisers like this one, families are able to attend grief camp at no cost, removing barriers and opening the door to healing, connection, and hope.

This cause is especially close to my heart. Three years ago, I was invited to volunteer at a family grief camp with Healing Hearts Connection, and that experience changed me. I went there to help. I went there to support families who were walking through unimaginable loss. And what I found was something deeper.

Through that weekend, connections were formed between myself and the other volunteers. We were all there to give—but we all shared something in common: we were on our own grief journeys too.

Each of us carried a different story. No two paths looked the same. But none of us were alone.

That is the heart of Healing Hearts Connection.

They don’t try to “fix” grief. They don’t rush it or minimize it. They create community, remind families they are not broken, and help both children and adults feel seen in their loss. They offer language for feelings that are hard to name and companionship for a journey that can feel isolating.
