On Saturday, March 4th, I along side some of our DIG Family will be participating in Healing Hearts Connection’s largest fundraiser- The Frunge! Each frunger can participate by fundraising to jump in Lake Waconia or to fundraise to NOT jump! DIG is proud to support an organization whose mission is to provide hope and healing to individuals who have experienced the death of a loved one. Not only does this demonstrate our “helpers of people” strategic objective, but also DIG Non-Negotiable number 15, “we demonstrate a positive mindset in all interactions with people, seeking to positively influence others with our words and actions.” Regional Sales Vice President Mark Owen was in attendance of the very first Frunge. “It was so cold that year that they canceled camp, but not the Frunge!” he says with a grin, “It was startling, to say the least, but the reason we do is for the people who attend the camp itself.” Along with raising money for Healing Hearts Connection, this event is a great reminder to love and care for those we know who are experiencing grief.
